The Purpose of the Citizens Input Team is to provide recommendations and/or findings from their assigned tasks. These tasks will be determined by the Citizens of Cybertown, and the suggestions will be actively solicited.
The Committee
The committee will be composed of 7 to 15 members. The members will be chosen randomly from a roster of those who have volunteered (see the Volunteer Form). C.E.R.B. will be responsible for the selection of the members to ensure an unbiased selection.
In order to serve on the committee, the Citizen must have been a member of Cybertown for at least 60 days. The Citizen must also have a clean Security Record. Each volunteer may serve on only one committee at a time. The Citizen may request to remain on the Volunteer Roster for future committee selections, though. All volunteers will be called at least once, prior to an individual serving a second committee term. The term of the committee is determined by the task assigned.
Should it be necessary, for any valid reason, to remove a Citizen from the Committee, the removal will be determined by the Mayor, with input from the Caretakers and with the final approval of the Founder.
The Tasks of the Committee
The tasks undertaken by the Committee will be assigned to it on formation by direction of the City Council, Caretakers, Founder or other groups who may require this input. The task will be presented with a clear definition of the objective to be achieved and a time frame for completion. The results will be presented to C.E.R.B. in a pre-defined report format. C.E.R.B. will assist the committee with any questions or problems that may need to be addressed, and will liaison with the City Council and present the results.
The type of questions which may be assigned to the committee will cover a wide range of topics. Examples of the questions might include: 3D Places and their Uses; what is needed now and/or what could be changed? New Home designs; what do citizens really want and/or what types of themes? Evaluation of New Proposals.
